The 22nd conference of Telugu Association of North America (TANA) will be organized in Washington, D.C. for three days from July 4, said TANA president Satish Vemana.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Satish said that over 20,000 Telugu speaking people from all across the globe are likely to take part in the conference.
Prominent among others who are expected to attend the conclave include President Donald Trump, Vice President of India Venkaiah Naidu and the Chief Ministers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, K. Chandrasekhar Rao and N. Chandrababu Naidu.
Invitations have already been extended to the dignitaries.
It is after a lapse of about 12 years that Washington, D.C. has been chosen as the venue.
Plans are also underway to organize Srinivasa Kalyanam under the aegis of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams during the sessions besides chalking out a road map for the promotion of Annamaiah kritis to benefit the children of Non-Resident Indian (NRI)s.
